Steven Cordoves, DDS
Dr. Steven Cordoves' relentless pursuit for perfection has catapulted him to be among one of the best dental clinicians within the metropolitan New York City area. A devoted and caring practitioner, Dr. Cordoves has worked to create an atmosphere of comfort and tranquility, using the most advanced dental technology and materials currently available within the field of cosmetic and implant dentistry today.
EDUCATION
Dr. Cordoves received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1998 at Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE). Because he wanted to practice in the United States, he pursued further training in the Advanced Standing Program at New York University's (NYU) College of Dentistry. There, he received his second Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2003. After 5 years in general practice, Dr. Cordoves sought specialized training in the field of implant dentistry, and in 2008, pursued an extensive, 2-year surgical and prosthetic training program in dental implantology at NYU. In May of 2010, he obtained certification in surgical and prosthetic dental implantology and achieved fellowship status from the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Dr. Cordoves currently holds a faculty position in the Continuing Dental Education Department for Surgical and Prosthetic Implantology at NYU.
