Begin Your Journey to Silent Nights

Are you or your partner struggling with snoring? Core Smiles introduces a revolutionary solution: Nightlase®. This non-invasive laser treatment, expertly administered by Dr. Gulizio, offers a permanent end to snoring, ensuring that your nights are as peaceful as they should be.

What is Nightlase?

Nightlase® is a state-of-the-art, gentle laser treatment that significantly reduces or eliminates snoring. By targeting the throat and mouth's tissue, Nightlase® stimulates collagen remodeling, leading to a tighter, more open airway. The best part? It's completely non-invasive, with no cuts, no downtime, and immediate results.

How Does It Work?

The Nightlase® treatment uses laser energy to stimulate collagen in the soft palate and throat, effectively opening up the airway and reducing snoring. Typically involving 3 to 5 sessions, each treatment is tailored to your unique needs, ensuring maximum effectiveness.

What is snoring?

Snoring is the audible vibration of respiratory structures, such as the soft palate and uvula, due to obstructed air movement during breathing while sleeping. It is also the most frequent nocturnal symptom of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), a potentially life-threatening disorder that causes repetitive episodes of partial or complete collapse of the upper airway during sleep. Many factors can contribute to snoring and, for this reason, a careful and complete evaluation is imperative in order to obtain an effective treatment.

Advantages of laser treatment

• Fast, safe & effective
• Minimally-invasive and nonsurgical
• Walk-in/walk-out procedure – you can talk, eat and drink normally after the procedure
• Can be used in combination with or following other types of standard OSA treatments

How does Nightlase® work?

NightLase® is performed with approximately three short treatments spaced over two months. Each treatment lasts around 20 minutes and requires no anesthesia. During the procedure, you might feel a slight heating sensation, such as when you drink hot tea, but there is no discomfort as soon as the procedure ends. The results can be seen already after the first session!

Proven Results and Highly Satisfied Patients

Clinical studies have confirmed the effectiveness of NightLase®. Patients report improvement in their snoring and OSA symptoms, being able to breathe easier as well as having higher levels of alertness and focus. The final results of the treatment have been shown to last up to a year or more, after which the therapy can be repeated.

Are You a Candidate for Nightlase?

If you're seeking a non-invasive solution to snoring, Nightlase® could be the answer. Ideal for various types of snoring issues, Nightlase® offers a significant improvement in sleep quality without the need for surgical intervention.

How do I know if I snore or if I am at risk of Sleep Apnea?

If you're wondering whether you snore or might be at risk of sleep apnea, there are a few self-assessment methods you can try at home. Firstly, ask a bed partner or family member if they've noticed you snoring loudly or if you ever stop breathing during sleep. Alternatively, you can record yourself sleeping to listen for any snoring or pauses in breathing. Additionally, consider your Mallampati score, which assesses the anatomy of your airway by looking at the structures at the back of your throat. You can do this by sitting in front of a mirror, sticking out your tongue, and shining a light into your mouth to see the size of your airway. A higher Mallampati score (grades 3 or 4) could indicate a higher risk of sleep apnea.

A Class 3 or 4 Mallampati score indicates high risk for oral sleep apnea
