Porcelain Veneers

porcelain veneers in New York city

Porcelain veneers are very thin pieces of ceramic that are adhesively bonded to the front of your teeth to improve the overall look of your smile. They are the ideal choice to correct minor imperfections in shape, volume and color.

The first step to a beautiful smile starts with the face. We complete a thorough facial and occlusal (bite) analysis on each and every patient to ensure that the shape, size and color of your porcelain veneers are appropriate for your face. Most importantly, we’ll analyze your bite extensively as the strength of a veneer is only as strong as the bite will permit. Our process is simple, yet methodical:

STEP 1: Complete Facial and Occlusal (Bite) Analysis, 3D scan of your teeth and photography.
STEP 2: Trial session of your customized veneers to analyze esthetics and function followed by reshaping teeth in preparation for veneer temporaries.
STEP 3: After your smile is approved in STEP 2 and teeth have been reshaped, we’ll adhesively bond your new veneers into place.

ARTISANAL CRAFTSMANSHIP

Our master ceramist carefully designs each porcelain veneer by hand for optimal esthetics and strength. Each smile is unique so every single porcelain veneer should incorporate microesthetic elements to create life-like beauty and a natural smile.

Dr. Gulizio and his staff are the best. As a person with a number of dental issues he has helped my mouth out in too many ways to count. I used to live in NYC but have since moved out to the midwest, and twice a year I make the trip into midtown just for my dental checkups. Ceramic, gold, night guards, cleaning, whitening, emergency visits, crowns and other procedures I already forgot. Before going to Dr G I had a mouth full of pain. Now I have a happy face and sleep through the night.

STRENGTH, WITH THE HELP OF TECHNOLOGY

Porcelain veneers are 0.2 - 0.5 millimeters thick and they are incredibly strong when properly adhered to dental enamel. In many cases, veneers can increase the strength of a tooth by over 110%.
